Living Longer Life and Timeshare Ownership

Did you know that 52 percent of Americans have unused vacation time?

According to Project Time Off more than half of Americans have unused vacation time even though 84 percent say it's important to use vacation days and travel. This shocking amount of unused vacation is even more alarming after reviewing the results of University of Finland's 40-year study.

The study researched over a thousand middle-aged male executives who were at risk for cardiovascular disease. The results showed that those men who took less than three weeks vacation had a 37 percent higher chance of dying than those who took more than three weeks. The researchers concluded that taking steps to reduce stress such as vacationing is essential to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

So, if vacation helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, which is the leading killer of both men and women, then why do so many Americans have unused vacation time? With their busy schedules, most Americans would say that they don't have the time to plan a vacation and actually make it happen. From figuring out where to go, what to do and coming up with a budget, planning a trip can be very time consuming, and as we know, time is our greatest and most limited resource.

Timeshares take the time out of planning a vacation. They are a commitment to taking a break from work, enjoy new experiences, and relax. You can go to the same place at the same time every year without having to plan or you can switch it up. With the affordable, flexible, and numerous amounts of locations that timeshares offer, you'll never have to waste your vacation time again.

Don't you think it's time to say "No" to unused vacation time?
